Strangelets with nite entropy

چکیده
Strangelets with non-zero entropy are studied within the MIT bag model. Explicit account is taken of the constraints that strangelets must be color neutral and have a xed total momentum. In general, masses increase with increasing entropy per baryon, and the constraints work so as to increase masses further. This has an important destabilizing e ect on strangelets produced in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions.

We calculate the evolution of quark-gluon-plasma droplets during the hadronization in a thermodynamical model. It is speculated that cooling as well as strangeness enrichment allow for the formation of strangelets even at very high initial entropy per baryon S/A ≈ 500 and low initial baryon numbers of A B ≈ 30. It is shown that the droplet with vanishing initial chemical potential of strange qu...

In this paper, the ambiguity of nite state irreducible Markov chain trajectories is reminded and is obtained for two state Markov chain. I give an applicable example of this concept in President election
متن کاملColor-flavor locked strangelets.
Finite lumps of color-flavor locked strange-quark matter (CFL strangelets) are significantly more stable than strangelets without color-flavor locking for wide ranges of parameters, increasing the likelihood of strangelet metastability, or even absolute stability beyond some minimum baryon number A(min). Whereas bulk CFL strange-quark matter is electrically neutral, CFL strangelets are positive...
متن کاملColor-flavor locked strangelets in a quark mass density-dependent model
The color-flavor locked (CFL) phase of strangelets is investigated in a quark mass densitydependent model. Parameters are determined by stability arguments. It is concluded that three solutions to the system equations can be found, corresponding, respectively, to positively charged, negatively charged, and nearly neutral CFL strangelets. The charge to baryon number of the positively charged str...
متن کاملStrangelets, Nuclearites, Q-balls—A Brief Overview
Astrophysical bounds on the properties and abundances of primordial quark nuggets and cosmic ray strangelets are reviewed. New experiments to search for cosmic ray strangelets in lunar soil and from the International Space Station are described. Analogies with baryonic and supersymmetric Q-balls are briefly mentioned, as are prospects for strangelets as ultra-high energy cosmic rays.
